The entire cycle of big bags production at our plant is controlled on all production areas, each batch passes laboratory tests on special equipment. 1. Granule extrusion, thread production

Granulated raw material is mixed in a 4-component dispenser (made in Germany) with additional ingredients: 2% of UV stabilizer, 7% of chalk additive and a colorant (if you need colored big bags).

Mixed raw material enters the extruder. On exit of it, raw material enters the cooling bath through the slit die, from where it is delivered to the thread cutting and drafting unit, after which it heated under 80°C with subsequent cooling (quenching of threads). The parameters of thickness and color of the thread are set at the stage of extrusion and drafting. After quenching, polypropylene threads are delivered to the winding unit on the spools, which are then delivered to the weaving workshop.

Production of threads for slings is made according to the same principle, but when producing of slings, the blue colorant is added to the raw material.

2. Weaving workshop: production of PP circular fabric

To obtain the fabric, spools with threads are delivered to the appropriate weaving loom, which produces the fabric of the required type. At this stage, the parameters of weaving and the diameter of circular fabric “ring” are set. For the production of circular fabric in accordance with technical conditions, the required number of spools is calculated and selected.

After that, the spools are installed on circular weaving looms and the fabric production process begins. The formed circular fabric is spooled on the stackers in rolls. Finished rolls are shipped to the warehouse or to the cutting shop.

Cloth samples are collected from each batch (roll), and sent for testing to a testing laboratory, where breaking loads, compliance with specified parameters, etc. are checked.

3. Cutting shop

Finished polypropylene cloth is delivered to the cutting shop. Here, according to the specified technical conditions, the cloth is thermally cut to the semifinished section lengths.

Cutting for the forming of the bottom, circular fabric (for one-sling and two-sling big bags) is made with the help of a thermal cutting machine-tool. At this stage, holes for valves (hatches) are cut.

After cutting and blanking, the workpieces are sent to the sewing shop or, if printing is required, to the printing shop.

4. Overprinting

At this manufacturing stage, up to 4 colors are printed on the workpiece. We use modern flexographic equipment and alcohol-soluble inks, which allows us to obtain high-quality printing under high production volume in a short time.

After that, a workpiece is delivered to the drying module, where the printed pattern is securely attached to the cloth. After printing, workpieces are sent to the sewing shop.

5. Sewing workshop, sewing of big bags

Sewing workshop is the key element that forms finished packaging in the form as we know it.

About 100 sewing machine operators are responsible for the production process at this area. Each of them performs a strictly specified operation. Here the bottoms of big bags are sewn together or stitched on, slings, seals, top ruffle, circular fabric, pocket for accompanying documents, tying tape, etc. are sewn on. On this stage, if it is provided by the requirement specification, suspended or bottle inserts are sewn into the frame of big bag.

From each batch, the production control department selects samples for laboratory strength tests.

6. Marking and packaging of products

After soft containers are ready, they are collected and packed on special presses, baled of 25 or 50 pieces. After that, they are tied with PP tape and wrapped with stretch film, or packed on pallets of 100-250 pieces according to the contract terms.

Bales of finished products are marked and wrapped with a protective film, then, passing the outcoming inspection of the QCD (quality control department), are sent on pallets to logisticians at the finished products warehouse or directly for shipment to transport companies.
